CAST & CREW who's responsible
Tim Wardell (playwright/actor): A graduate of Southern Methodist University with a degree in Communications, Tim has been called many things, none of which can be repeated here. A professional actor and voice-talent, he is a founding member of three improvisational comedy troupes, and has been called “funny” by at least one clinical psychologist (although it wasn’t in a “ha ha” kind of way).
Leigh Tomlinson (playwright): As a young girl, Leigh’s hopes of being an astronaut were dashed when she realized the space suit actually did make her butt look big. She turned to the next best thing – becoming an actress and a singer. She appeared on Dallas-area stages, in radio spots, and a few independent films (not adult films). She also sang jazz, performing in Dallas, New York, Italy, Thailand, and any exotic local she could justify before succumbing to cancer in 2008.
Meagan Norris (actress): Meagan grew up in southern California and graduated with a BA in Theatre Arts from Pepperdine University in Malibu. After college, she relocated to Dallas to work on the CBS show Walker Texas Ranger and FOX’s Prison Break. She knew her acting career was taking off when she was cast in a Carnival Cruise Line commercial to push a big beach ball over the edge of a building. I mean, come on, that was true acting! Oh, and she didn’t stop there. The work was just rolling in - commercials, appearances, charity events, TV, film - you name it. Any intrested big-time producers or directors can reach Meagan through her agent Linda McAlister Talent and she'll be happy to put her beach ball pushing skills to the test.
Lincoln Apeland (composer): Lincoln still holds the high school record for eating the most jalapenos. While it didn’t help his musical career, it won him the respect of his peers, and a visit to the doctor. He has been a professional musician since he was carted off to the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Although he is passionate about the slide whistle (a very under-rated instrument), he is more than proficient on bass, guitar, piano, saxophone, and harmonica. He has composed music for television, movies, and cartoons — where he is able to employ the slide whistle, and more than a few kazoo licks, as well. He holds a masters in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas.
Nicole Wooddell (stage manager): Nicole graduated from Sam Houston State University in May of '08 with a Bachelor's in Theater. While there she stage managed "Oedipus" and "The Skin of Our Teeth" and directed "The Mercy Seat" as well as "The Cemetary Club" at the Huntsville Town Theater. She made her DFW debut as stage manager for "Rounding Third" in October 2008 for director John Davies. Porn for Puritans is only her second show in Dallas Fort Worth metrolplex. (God help her as it's all down hill from here.)
